Top athletes rendezvousing Angelique Kerber meets the new Porsche Panamera Turbo after returning from the US Open

Stuttgart . The tennis queen is back: after her triumph at the US Open in New York, Angelique Kerber landed in Munich on Tuesday morning. At the airport, the new world No. 1 met another fantastic athlete – den Porsche Panamera Turbo which unites the performance of a true sports car with the comfort of a luxury limousine. The Porsche Brand Ambassador was not going to be stopped from getting behind the steering wheel herself and driving the 550 bhp gran turismo to the photo shoot and press roundtable. The Panamera Turbo recently set a new record of 7:38 minutes for a four door car around the legendary Nürburgring North Loop.

The Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche, Oliver Blume congratulated Angelique Kerber immediately after her win in the final in New York. “In climbing to the top of the world rankings and winning the US Open, Angelique Kerber has written sports history,” he said. “She’s a fantastic sportswoman and a role model that young people can base themselves on. We are proud of our brand ambassador.”
