Porsche 911 Targa 4 - Fuel economy and recycling

Fuel economy and recycling

Intelligent lightweight construction is fundamental to the Porsche identity. It is expressed through the use of a high proportion of aluminium, magnesium, plastics, super-high-strength sheet steel and environmentally friendly water-based paints. All materials are meticulously and purposefully selected. All lightweight materials are easily recyclable and all plastic components are labelled to facilitate their separation for subsequent recycling. In short, the 911 is now around 95 % recoverable.
